On Buddha Jayanti, Everest English School Bhaktapur observed its annual Muthi Daan Programme, welcoming around 25 monks from Muni Vihar. Students from Playgroup through Grade X offered rice, fruits, biscuits, and money, which were later sent to Muni Vihar as prasad. The programme was led by our Pariyatti teachers and opened with a Panchasheel recitation guided by Arjun Bhante.

Muthi Daan is a small but steady practice in our school calendar. It gives our students a quiet way to learn the spirit of giving and to stay connected to the Newar Buddhist heritage of Bhaktapur.
